IREM® celebrates 90 years of making a difference

Ninety years ago, the National Association of Real Estate Boards (NAREB) – known today as the National Association of REALTORS® – recognized the need for greater specialization in the real estate industry. The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) was founded to promote ethical practices in real estate management, to foster education, and to encourage members to share their experiences.

From that day forward, IREM has grown to serve as the world’s strongest voice for all things real estate management. Today, almost 20,000 leaders in commercial and residential management call them home for learning, certifications, and networking.

IREM® is an international institute with the learning, certifications, and networking that property managers need to take on real estate management’s most dynamic challenges.

Shortlisted in the EBRD successful cases

On February 22, the XI annual meeting of the Coordination Committee of Cooperation Programs between the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was held. General Director of the management company of the Astana Tower business center Zhanar Yesseneyeva took part in the meeting as a representative of one of the most successful project cases consulted within the framework of the EBRD program.

Why is a management company essential?

The Kazakhstani commercial real estate market differs from the Western one in that it is less stable, younger, more risky and therefore more interesting. If for the West the transfer of commercial real estate objects to the full trust management of an external management company is already a rule, then for Kazakhstan it is rather a developing direction.
